Can i install the MOS UpLift™ with the crossbars and mounting accessories i already have ?
To validate the compatibility of your roof racks, mounting accessories and equipment with the MOS UpLift™, consult the list of Tested and approved accessories.
We have designed the MOS UpLift™ to be compatible with the majority of transportation equipment and materials on the market. It is your responsibility to ensure that the use of the MOS UpLift™ allows for the normal and safe use of all of your car-mounted equipment, including your roof racks, attachment accessories, and load carriers.
When installing the MOS UpLift™, if you find that it is not compatible with your equipment, contact MOS customer service or the MOS dealer’s customer service department for return and refund policy.
Never install or use the MOS UpLift™ with equipment that is not compatible.
At all times, you must respect the load capacity of the MOS UpLift™, the roof bars, the attachment system, the mounting accessories and the load carriers.
Never install the MOS UpLift™ on equipment that shows signs of wear, breakage or is unsafe for use.
How to install the MOS UpLift™ on the top of my car ?
Refer to our User Guide and review the safety instructions before installing and using the MOS UpLift™ or any other system on your vehicle.
The MOS UpLift™ installs on oval, square or rectangular shaped crossbars up to 3.5″ (9 cm) wide with a load capacity of at least 165 lbs.
The MOS UpLift™ attaches to the crossbars using fasteners around the bars with bolts and star nuts.
We recommend installing the MOS UpLift™ on your vehicle with the help of another person.

Is it possible to mount two MOS UpLift™ onto my car?
Two MOS UpLifts can be installed per vehicle. If you mount only one MOS UpLift onto your vehicle, we recommend installing it on the passenger side.
*The maximum load capacity of your roof racks and other accessories attached to your vehicle must be respected at all times.
Is the MOS UpLift™ compatible with my car ?
To ensure that the MOS UpLift™ is compatible with your vehicle, roof racks, mounting accessories and equipment, please refer to the User Guide. Here are some things you should consider when installing and using the MOS UpLift™ :
-it installs easily on crossbars with a load capacity of 165 lbs or more and a maximum width of 3.35″ (8.5 cm)
-compatible with mounting accessories and load carriers that install with 20 x 20 mm T-slides or clips around bars 2.75″ (7 cm) or wider
-has a loading capacity of 125 lbs (56 kg)
-minimum distance between crossbars is 20″ (51 cm) and maximum distance between crossbars is 39″ (99 cm).
-maintains a horizontal level throughout deployment, allowing for the installation of various types of sports and outdoor equipment (bikes, kayaks, skis, snowboards, and roof boxes).
*You must have the appropriate mounting accessories for the type of equipment you wish to transport on the MOS UpLift.
*At all times, you must respect the loading capacity of the MOS UpLift, the mounting accessories and the roof racks.
*Refer to the Use and Installation Guide for the equipment you are installing on your vehicle and follow all safety instructions.
What is the deposit surface allowed by the MOS UpLift™ ?
The MOS UpLift™ can accommodate sports and outdoor equipment up to 26″ (66 cm) wide or less. So it will be compatible, for example, with a roof box that is 26″ (66 cm) or smaller.
Add our J-Extension and easily transport equipment up to 38” (97 cm) wide – perfect for a canoe!
